3 Day Group Workshops in Dorset

Information
A workshop with a varied programme set over three days (Monday to Wednesday) including two nights in the beautiful setting of Kingston Country Courtyard. Enjoy a 3 day landscape photography workshop based in the heart of the Purbecks, one of the most beautiful places in Dorset, indeed the south of England. Tony will be joined by his wife, Miranda, to host your stay at Kingston Country Courtyard, which boasts spectacular views overlooking Corfe Castle.
A Photographic Holiday
We aim to offer you a workshop which is relaxed and reflects a photographic holiday rather than an extreme adventure. Spread over three days and with an opt-in opt-out itinerary, all the daily activities are varied to suit all levels of photographer. We appreciate that residential photography workshops can be tiring when shooting from dawn through to dusk and beyond, so we tailor our days to allow for some rest and recuperation between shoots. We also pay careful consideration to the terrain and effort required when visiting locations. You choose whether you wish to take part in the dawn shoot or simply enjoy a lie-in before breakfast. You will also get personal time each morning to enjoy the local surroundings – the views are breathtaking. Each afternoon we venture out to shoot classic locations and weather permitting we always aim to finish with a sunset shoot on the Jurassic coast. Tony will be available at all times to give helpful advice and tuition on landscape photography techniques including camera settings, filtration and compositional tips. He has an in depth knowledge of Dorset and is an excellent guide to transport you to many of the prime photographic spots.
Small Group Sizes
A maximum of just 6 participants means more personal attention and individual tuition, it also allows participants more space when shooting at each location.
Quality Accommodation & Food
Our base will be the idyllic setting of Kingston Country Courtyard. The prices are based on sole occupancy. However, many of the rooms are doubles or twins, so non-participating partners are welcome. (Supplements will apply) If you are travelling from afar and wish to arrive on the day before or even extend your stay, I have secured a discounted room rate with the Kingston Country Courtyard. Please contact me for details. Quality breakfasts and packed lunches are included (days 2 & 3) and in the evenings we return to base to relax before we visit the excellent local public house: The Castle Inn in Corfe Castle village for our evening meal. Transport is provided throughout the workshop so all you need to do is bring your camera gear and enjoy. Please note, we aim to keep your costs down so we have not included the evening meals in the cost of the workshop - so you get to choose how much you spend on your own evening meals. However, rooms, breakfasts, packed lunches, coffee/tea and transport are all included.
