Two-day group workshops offer a great opportunity to photograph many of Dorset’s prime photographic locations like Corfe Castle, Kimmeridge Bay and Durdle Door. The next available 2 Day group workshop is detailed below.

MAXIMUM GROUP SIZE 4 PARTICIPANTS
If you have ever experienced a crowded group workshop, sometimes as many as 12 you will know why we keep numbers to a maximum of four. I am a great believer in not trying to overload the workshop with too many people, so we never have more than 4 photographers on a 2 day workshop. This means more personal attention and individual tuition. It also allows workshop participants more space when shooting at each location.
Quality Accommodation
We will be staying overnight in the idyllic setting of Kingston Country Courtyard. Situated in the heart of the Purbeck Hills and with spectacular views over Corfe Castle, it offers quality en-suite accommodation and hospitality, and is therefore a perfect place to be based. Please note prices are based on sole occupancy. However, many of the rooms are doubles or twins - therefore non participating partners are welcome. (supplements will apply)
Guidance & Tuition
Tony will give helpful advice and tuition on landscape photography techniques including camera settings, filtration and compositional tips. Tony also has an in depth knowledge of Dorset and will guide you to the top photographic spots, whilst also providing your transport over the two days.
Itinerary - Day One
The group will visit a number of excellent locations throughout the day, ending with a sunset shoot. We then return to base for a well earned evening meal. After dinner we have an introduction to Lightroom tutorial and an informal photo critique session in our own lounge/bar, so this is an ideal opportunity to bring along your photos.
Itinerary - Day Two
Day 2 starts with a dawn shoot before returning to base for breakfast. With so many wonderful dawn locations so close-by, like Corfe Castle, Studland Beach, Old Harry Rocks and even Swanage, we really are spoilt for choice. We again travel to various locations throughout the day finishing with a sunset shoot on the glorious Jurassic coast. A packed lunch is provided on the second day.
Dorset is a popular tourist spot and can be very busy at weekends. With this in mind, the two-day workshops always take place during the week – this will mean less use of the “people filter” in Photoshop! One thing we can’t control is the weather, so itineraries can be subject to change if necessary.

A workshop set over two days (Monday & Tuesday) and includes one night's stay in the Kingston Country Courtyard near Corfe Castle.
We visit prime locations on the beautiful Isle of Purbeck and weather permitting will finish each day with a Jurassic coast sunset.

We got home after the photographic workshop absolutely shattered, we were so thrilled with the experience and even though we have great coastlines here in Wales we can't believe how lovely the Dorset coast is.
