Landscape Photography Workshop
This time of the year is an exciting time to be photographing the picturesque Jurassic coastline. The East Dorset coast is one of the most scenic and spectacular coastlines in the country, boasting many classic photographic locations like Kimmeridge Bay, Durdle Door, Lulworth Cove and Old Harry Rocks. If we throw the spectacular Corfe Castle into the mix, we have endless photographic opportunities! Participants receive shared guidance in landscape photography techniques. All levels are welcome, whether you are a beginner or an experienced photographer. The atmosphere is relaxed and suited to photographers wishing to be creative in their landscape photography; we cover many aspects of technique, from composition, filtration and camera settings to what equipment to carry in your kit bag. The workshop day aims to be a maximum 8/9 hours in duration (including return travel to your vehicle). It can sometimes over-run if the weather conditions are good.

The Itinerary
We meet at 9.15am at the gateway to the Isle of Purbeck near the small town of Wareham and at this point you leave your own vehicle as transport is provided. We start the day with an informal briefing about landscape photography techniques and camera craft. This is also a good time to get to know each other. We then venture out for a full day's shooting. We aim to visit a minimum of three prime photographic locations, finishing after sunset on the coast. The sun sets at approx 4.30pm so we expect to finish at approx 5.15/30pm. Please note itineraries and locations do have to be flexible to take in the weather conditions on the day.
