Landscape Photography Workshop
North Dorset in autumn offers so many colourful photographic opportunities with locations that are often overlooked. We visit disused mills, riverside locations, bridges, working mills, abbeys and medieval churches, all set within the transient colours of the autumn season and the north Dorset countryside.

THE WORKSHOP DAY
There cannot be a landscape photographer anywhere that isn't awed by the rich and changing colours of the autumn season. The Dorset countryside in early November is ablaze with golden hues and saturated bronzes as the leaves change colour and fall from the deciduous trees. The photographic opportunities are endless as we visit a number of locations throughout the day. This workshop is based in north Dorset and includes a whole day of shared guidance in landscape photography. All levels are welcome, whether you are a beginner or an experienced photographer. The atmosphere is relaxed and suited to photographers wishing to be creative in their landscape photography. Having lived in and photographed Dorset all his life Tony has an unrivalled knowledge of its best locations. He is also a very experienced and enthusiastic tutor and will be on hand at all times to offer help and guidance, with particular attention paid to composition, lens choices and mastering how to use filters.

ITINERARY
The day begins by meeting up in Blandford Forum. At this point you leave your own vehicle as transport is provided. During the course of the day we aim to photograph a minimum of three, maybe four locations - stopping at lunchtime to eat our packed lunch. Our shoots will be chosen from the list above. After the first shoot we will stop for a cup of tea/coffee and also take this opportunity to chat about good landscape photography techniques, camera settings and the importance of correct exposure and getting it right 'in camera'. The day starts at 9.00am and finishes at approx 5.15/30pm back in Blandford. Small groups guaranteed - max. 4 photographers! All levels welcome.
