Workshop Information
With one of the most scenic and spectacular coastlines in the country, Dorset's west coast boasts classic photographic locations like Fleet Lagoon, Chesil Beach, Weymouth Bay and Portland. Participants receive a whole day of shared guidance in landscape photography techniques. All levels are welcome, whether you are a beginner or an experienced photographer. The atmosphere is relaxed and ideally suited for photographers wishing to be creative in their landscape photography; particular attention is paid to composition, filtration, camera settings and good camera craft in general. The workshop day aims to be between 8 and 9 hours in duration, including travel, although it can sometimes over-run when tides and weather conditions are good. Small group size - max of just 4 participants, so plenty of personal attention!

The Itinerary
We begin the workshop by meeting on the outskirts of Weymouth and at this point you leave your own vehicle as transport is provided. We start the workshop with an informal briefing and a chat about landscape photography techniques including composition and good exposure. We then venture out to the coast to cover a full day shooting. We aim to visit a minimum of three prime photographic locations, finishing after sunset. Please note itineraries and locations do have to be flexible to take in the weather conditions on the day.
