Jurassic Coast Experience Day

Landscape Photography
The Isle of Purbeck and Jurassic coast have one of the most scenic and spectacular coastlines in the country, with many potential photographic locations like Kimmeridge Bay, Chapmans Pool and Old Harry Rocks. If we throw into the mix the spectacular Corfe Castle we have endless photographic opportunities!

Information
The experience day is just that, an opportunity to get out with a small number of likeminded photographers and enjoy a photographic time and experience together.

Adapting to new ways of working
The experience day is a new way of enjoying a workshop experience but at the same time maintaining the necessary social distancing measures that we now have to consider. The shooting locations and experience will be very similar to a workshop but without the close-up interaction and tuition. Transport between locations will need to be flexible and in line with distancing measures appropriate at that time. Using our own separate cars will be necessary between locations. We will aim to photograph a maximum of three locations in the day.

All levels
All levels are welcome, whether you are a beginner or an experienced photographer. The atmosphere is relaxed and suited to photographers wishing to be creative in their landscape photography. The experience day aims to be 8 to 9 hours in duration. If the weather conditions are good at sunset we may overrun. As this is not a tuition-based workshop, Anthony will be shooting too and will do his best to assist with camera and photography guidance generally, whenever possible.

The Itinerary
We start the day at our meeting point near the town of Wareham at 11.30am. After the first shoot. We will then stop for a coffee before our second location. Albeit brief, our coffee time will be a good time to get to know each other and also an ideal opportunity to chat about landscape photography techniques and camera craft in general before venturing out again. The aim is to visit a number of photographic locations throughout the day and where possible keep driving time to a minimum. At lunchtime we will take a break to eat - I recommend bringing your own packed lunch and drinks. The day will finish after sunset with a coastal shoot. We expect to finish at approx 8.00pm or just after. Please note itineraries and locations will have to be flexible to take in the weather conditions on the day.
