The New Forest in Autumn

The New forest, a National Park no less, probably offers more than most when it comes to landscape photography opportunities. The autumn season just adds to those possibilities with its transient golden and bronze hues as the trees shed their leaves and prepare for the winter ahead. Yes, the weather can be unpredictable, after all this is the UK, but with that volatility comes opportunity and the high chance of experiencing ethereal conditions. The autumn ... the season, tailor made for landscape photographers!

The Itinerary
A small group of just four photographers, including me. We begin the day by meeting up just north of the small town of Ringwood in Hampshire. After the first shoot we will most likely grab a coffee and use the local facilities before spending the rest of the day hopefully visiting at least another three prime locations. The itinerary will be flexible and will have to allow for conditions on the day. We aim to finish the day with e sunset shoot and if we are lucky enough to get an afterglow, we may overrun a little.

Additional Information
  • I do recommend that you bring a packed lunch and enough hot/cold drinks to last you for the day.
  • All levels are welcome, whether you are a beginner or an experienced photographer.
