Dorset's East Jurassic Coast Workshop

Landscape Photography
The Isle of Purbeck and Jurassic East Coast offers us many potential photographic locations like Kimmeridge Bay, Chapmans Pool and Old Harry Rocks. If we throw into the mix the spectacular Corfe Castle we have lots of photographic opportunities!

All levels
All levels are welcome, whether you are a beginner or an experienced photographer. The atmosphere is relaxed and suited to photographers wishing to be creative in their landscape photography. The workshop is a minimum of 8 hours in duration. If the weather conditions are good at sunset we may overrun a tad.

The Itinerary
We start the day at our meeting point near the town of Wareham at 9.00am. We may stop for a coffee and chat before shooting our first location. Our coffee time will be a good time to get to know each other and also an ideal opportunity to chat about landscape photography techniques and camera craft in general before venturing out.

The aim is to visit a number of photographic locations throughout the day and where possible keep driving time to a minimum. At lunchtime we will take a break to eat - I recommend bringing your own packed lunch and drinks. The day will finish after sunset with a coastal shoot. We expect to finish at approx 5.45pm. Please note itineraries and locations will have to be flexible to take in the weather conditions on the day

Additional Workshop Information
We will have to allow for suitable social distancing where necessary and possibly using masks at times. Transport between locations will need to be flexible and in line with distancing measures appropriate at that time. Using our own separate cars will be necessary between locations. We will aim to keep the transport to locations to a minimum. .
